Thank you to our partners

The launch of Ignite & Activate has been a huge team effort between Cultural Vistas and some of its favorite San Diego area organizations. From meals to meeting space, A/V equipment, speaker and panelists coordination, and sharing ideas–this two-and-a-half day summit would not be possible without their support.

The Point is thoughtfully designed to create an inspiring atmosphere where  groups can find their biggest breakthroughs, build camaraderie, and have a great time.

FAQ

What's the purpose of this summit?

The challenges and opportunities of the modern world demand a global perspective. This summit seeks to provide a forum for individuals and organizations who are motivated by a desire to engage with the rest of the world in a meaningful, mutually beneficial way to connect and learn from one another and strengthen global engagement at the local level.

Who is this for?

The experience is perfect for alumni of and participants in international study and exchange programs, individuals interested in opening global pathways of others, or for anyone looking to grow their networks and strengthen their leadership and community-building skills. We expect there will be a mix of young, mid-career, and experienced professionals of all backgrounds.

Why is Cultural Vistas organizing this?

We provide skills and experiences to help people navigate the changing world and workplace. We began with a desire to reignite the passions of our alumni towards not just bettering themselves or Cultural Vistas, but opening global pathways for others. We believe the benefits of this multi-day effort extend far beyond those who have taken part in our programs.

What does my registration fee cover?

Breakfast, lunch, snacks, cultural activities (paddle boarding, bonfire, etc.). The fee does not cover all costs, however, it is heavily subsidized. Local lodging and transportation is the responsibility of participants.

where should I stay in San Diego?

As the event is spread across several venues, we recommend lodging in the Point Loma area. Depending on your budget, we've provided a list of hotels and hostels in the area.

How do I apply for a scholarship?

We are dedicated to ensuring this is an accessible event. As a result, we are offering a limited number of partial and full scholarship opportunities to cover registration fees. Please fill out this form as soon as possible for more information.
